Finally, a design of our main character! ~~after waiting nearly an entire year for it too coughcough~~

Although - I probably might redesign this at a later time. Not so much a huge fan of the lower part. :|

Demyx will play a leading role in REVERSE, and will be mostly travelling alone - at least until he encounters each and every member of the Organization.

Hey there!

Currently we’re in a bit of a hiccup (uh actually major hiccup coming to think of it), since Sarafina has been swamped with her degree. I, on the other hand, have been busy with work - but REVERSE is still happening, rest assured! We may not be delving into the actual story yet, but keep your eyes peeled - we’ll keep you guys updated as much as we can!

This one was rather old - it was originally one of our test-run, pet projects on creating a simple REVERSE merchandise in conjunction with Comic Fiesta 2011: bookmarks. For that event, since it’s only a test run of sorts, we only made eight sets - six Basic sets (containing six bookmarks each) and two Special sets (containing eight each instead). The order of the set was as follows:

Demyx
Zexion
Marluxia
Luxord
Xigbar
Raziel

These are the Basic sets of 6. The remaining 2 sets are extra-special, as they contain bookmarks of two additional characters:

Xemnas
Lord Kain (daylight form)

Posting this rather late because I just found it up again, and thought it would be worthwhile to share it up here.

A non-Kingdom Hearts character for once.

You might know Raziel. He hails from the Legacy of Kain game series, first appearing in Soul Reaver. No, this isn’t the angel Raziel. This guy doesn’t even look like an angel.

Demyx and the gang will encounter him later on in the story, and he will become one of the central characters in REVERSE. What will happen to him now that he has been released from the Reaver?

I can’t remember what my sister wanted for him since REVERSE is set in a modern world, but I could’ve sworn she said something in the lines of “Skulduggery Pleasant-ish look” or something. So that’s what I was trying to portray (smaller image on the right). His outfit is designed, via magic, by Zexion, and I think the kid doesn’t really have much taste.

What do you think? Is this a good design for him?

Pfft. Where do I begin with Xigbar. My sister and I nonchalantly agree that Xigbar is both a badass and a troll to boot - and I thought I had that…badassery portrayed in his design - although it probably didn’t work here.

I thought arrowguns just won’t do, so I chucked them out and gave Xigbar a set of guns and a shotgun to boot. If you’re familiar with the Supernatural series, you’ll know what the shotgun is for (although I’m pretty sure ol’ Xiggy would use it all the freaking time and not use it where necessary).

Yes, at first I wanted to attach another set of guns bound to his boots - you know, a la Bayonetta - but I decided against it, because it would make him look a bit too bulky in appearance - what with him already lugging a shotgun and two guns to boot.

As far as theme songs go, I think Bounce - Original Remix for Step Up 2 suits him really well.

This one, I believe, is a MUCH better design for Marluxia. Yes, I dare say so. Because this one tallies together with Luxord’s and Zexion’s outfits better than the first design. Just nice enough to make him look alluring while still enabling him to move much more comfortably.

I’ve gotten the colors of the scythe down pat. Generally, while the original design for Marluxia focuses on pastel colors, this one goes for all reds - firstly, because red represents passion, something inborn within Marluxia’s nature as an incubus in this story. Secondly, red represents blood - and I believe no elaboration is needed for that.

As for where theme songs are concerned, I think Trunks’ theme for the Super Butoden game fits Marluxia well - it has a rather nice mix of class and badassery at the same time.

So! What do you think about this outfit? Do you think this is much better than the first design?

You’d think that if the main character is Demyx, I’m supposed to already have his design up. But my sister and I are a bit at loggerheads about how Demyx should look like - and I suddenly got the inspiration to design Zexion’s appearance in our fan comic while at IELTS class this afternoon.

This may not be the final design, so I need to know what you think. Basically, I plan to preserve his original abilities and the lexicon - only with a few extras (I don’t suppose a lexicon alone would help him survive through a mass hoard of bloodthirsty vampires) hidden in the book of his.

And oh look, he already has his own theme song.

Any thoughts and feedback would be greatly appreciated!

OH MY GOODNESS YOU GUYS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING US! ; A ; You have no idea how much it means to both of us, and frankly this really made my entire morning!

To our new followers, welcome to REVERSE - A Kingdom Hearts/Legacy of Kain/DBZ AU fan project. If you’re not sure what the story is about, you can read the story summary here. We’re still working on a number of things, story-wise & character-wise, and I trust you guys realize that while this is predominantly a Kingdom Hearts fan project, Kingdom Hearts isn’t the only main series that we’ll be using for this - we’ll be using characters from the Legacy of Kain series (just Kain and Raziel) and also Dragon Ball Z characters too, so you’ll be seeing designs of these characters as well.

Look out for more designs - and hopefully, the second page already! - in the near, NEAR future! And once again, thank you all for the support!

Edit: We’ve decided to make him a Creature Dark, or, more precisely, an incubus. That can only mean I’m going to give him a much better design than this. So watch this space.

I’m not sure if I like Marluxia’s design. It looks a bit too pretentious to me, and rather out-of-place since Luxord’s and Zexion’s outfit already has a touch of modern to them, but Marly….uh….looks like he just travelled through time to the Victorian times, shopped there and returned in this outfit. Too out of place, though I’m very satisfied with the weapon. Ill have to revise his outfit.

Any thoughts on how he looks like?
